Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions to support client requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform, and system security problems
  • Applies activity and data modeling transaction flow analysis
  • Performs internal control and risk analysis
  • Applies modern business methods
  • Applies performance measurement techniques
  • Assist in establishing standards for information system procedures
  • Conduct secure system engineering and development, including system/security requirements analysis and secure system definition
  • Implements security concepts associated with this position
  • Support the Senior Security Analyst in providing HBSS analysis
  • Perform Retina Scans and review findings
  • Establishes procedures for Incident Management & Change Management
  • Monitors logs
  • Enforces security policies
  • Utilizes the Vulnerability Management System (VMS)
  • Verifies DOD STIG compliance
  • Perform workstations/server security patching
  • Develop security related standard operating procedures and other documents
  • Under general supervision develop technical solutions to support client requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform, and system security problems
  • Apply activity and data modeling transaction flow analysis; internal control and risk analysis; modern business methods; and performance measurement techniques
  • Assist in establishing standards for information system procedures
  • Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems
  • Conduct secure system engineering and development, including system/security requirements analysis and secure system definition
  • Also, may design test beds of advanced hardware and software solutions
  • Implements security concepts associated with this position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience or certification
  • 4 – 8 years experience

CompTIA Security +

Certifications Preferred

CompTIA Security +CE
