    The Senior Network Engineer will provide solution engineering, communications, and implementation support for DISA’s DoD Enterprise Email (DEE) service offering. DEE is a secure cloud-based email service provided to the DOD enterprise . The Senior Network Engineer is a key member and a principal technical advisor to the Government for enterprise networks.

    • Network experience in support of large data centers or hands on experience with network support of data center migrations
    • Configuring and troubleshooting large enterprise networks includingall facets of both WANs and LANs including routers, switches, firewalls, web cache equipment, proxy servers, VPN equipment, router access lists, firewall rule sets, servers, and other enterprise network equipment.
    • Integration of new internetworking and network components into existing networks
    • Design and implementation of IPv6 networks  Remote administration of data center communications equipment.
    • Fast-paced, professional office environment.
    • Work space is an open cubicle with a dedicated telephone and laptop computer.
    • DoD open Secret work environment which prohibits the use of any personal electronic devices within the office building. Including but not limited to personal mobile telephones, laptops, Apple Watches.

    • Extremely detail-oriented; ability to produce accurate and timely reports
    • Strong decision making ability and judgment
    • Network solutions and design experience

    Technical Requirements:

    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
    • Internet
    • SharePoint
    • VISIO
    • Cisco Nexus, F5 LTM, Juniper and Brocade platforms is a plus.
    • Experience with Remedy IT Ticketing system.


    • DoD 8570 IA certification – Security +, CE certification.
    • CCNA/CCNP/JNICA/CCIE is a plus.

     Required Clearance: 

    • DoD Secret IT-1

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree or eight years of experience in lieu of a college degree.
