    NOVA Corporation is looking for a Software Developer to work in Fort Meade, MD. This position is offering 2 days of telework per weekMust have a Top Secret clearance. 


    In your new role, you will be responsible for:

    • Developing, planning and analyzing; designing products, and programming computer software that requires extensive research.
    • Utilizing advance knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
    • Performing software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support.
    • Performing product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.
    • Participating in design meetings and consulting with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
    • Performing complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.
    • Preparing documentation required of the product.
    • Analyzing and researching software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints.
    • May consult with customer concerning application and maintenance of software.
    • May coordinate installation of software system.
    • Identifying user requirements and describing services available.
    • Providing technical support to users and assisting them in defining and solving computing problems within well-defined areas of responsibility. 
    • Assisting in preparing documentation of developed products and other supported products. 
    • Assisting in preparing user training materials and conduct training sessions as assigned. 
    • Performing programming tasks.
    • Performing system administration duties in support of other team members for either Windows, Solaris, or Red Hat Linux.


    Experienced in developing applications in any of the following programming languages

    • Ruby
    • Java
    • Javascript
    • C#

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline is required.


    Experience: 10 years


    Top Secret Clearance
