Duties & responsibilities:
Provide system administration technical support for the Windows Server systems.
Install, configure, maintain, manage, functionally validate and troubleshoot MS Windows Server operating environments and associated components such as, but not limited to the Registry, Active Directory, Internet Information Service (IIS), Domain Name System (DNS), TCP/IP, Network File Systems (NFS), and networking components. Ensure operating environments are properly configured and functioning with specified network, and storage components and applicable tool suites.
Configure networking and storage components to meet engineering specifications at the OS Windows Server level.
Windows scripting (PowerShell and other DISA standard tools) to optimize and automate system administrator tasks.
Strong Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
Good troubleshooting skills with network issues from the perspective of the operating system.
Good documentation and process skills.
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Remedy IT Ticketing system.
Technical skills required:
Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience in lieu of a college degree.
