    Enterprise Storage System Administrator


    NOVA Corporation is currently seeking a Enterprise Storage System Administrator with a TOP SECRET clearance!

    • Knowledge and minimum 2 years of experience in SAN/NAS technologies to include:  SAN/Clustering Technology, Disaster Recovery Principles, SAN Fiber Channel networks.
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of disk backup technology to include both internal and external arrays.  Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the associated IA principles and framework applied to ensure information assurance and security of those services.

    Enterprise System administration experience on Microsoft Windows platforms. An understanding of a wide array of server grade applications is preferable, but not required. These include Active Directory, HBSS, Windows DNS, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, SAN/NAS, SCCM/SCOM, Patch Management, and LDAP.




    Skills Required: 

    • Security Windows Server Administration
    • Good communication skills
    • Good documentation and process skills
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
    • Experience with Remedy IT Ticketing system

    Competencies Required: 

    • Microsoft Windows with SCCM or SCOM

    Certifications Required:

    • MCSE or equivalent required

    Must possess one of the following certifications for IAT III compliance:
    • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
    • GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)


    Technical Skills Required: 

    • Microsoft Windows 2000 and up
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
    • Internet
    • SharePoint
    • Network Solutions/Design experience
    • VISIO

    Nice to haves, but not requirements: 


    • Windows Server 2012 R2 Server Administration
    • Cisco IOS, network routing/switching basics, and fiber channel fabric configurations
    • Dell Compellent Storage Center or other vendor SAN array experience
    • VMware / Hyper-V Virtualization Technologies
    • Basic Unix OS CLI commands (RHEL, CentOS or similar)

    Education Requirements

    3+ years SAN/NAS administration

    Certifications Required

    IAT Level III Compliant, MCSA, MCSE

    Certifications Preferred


    Clearance Required

    DoD Top Secret IT-I
